Spring 2023!

SO… Some of you may have known or experienced that I changed the format of the online new people sign ups for a while during the last couple of months. I did so because I realized that there was a lot of people coming for services but the scheduling was getting harder to get an appointment within a week or two of the last appointment. While this is a good problem to have, I still realized that it wasn’t serving the community the way that I truly love to serve. That is through lengthy, time consuming, long journeys with my clients to get to the goals and process all that they need before they begin to decrease or come less often to sessions.

So…I took a leap of faith and shut down the new client services for a while. This worked for a while because it allowed more people that I had known in the past to come back in and find a time that they hadn’t been able to connect on, and it was good to renew such connection with them as well. Having given this a solid 6 weeks of no new clients coming on board, I am again finding that the schedule isn’t as packed or full and finding more thoughts about who God would want to have come into the practice to actively continue to journey and create new paths and freedom.

It has worked to take a break on the new intakes, but I am opening up the scheduling again because there are some gaps in the calendar that some people could take advantage of soon.

So the newest thing for Spring 2023 is that the INTAKE options are back on in the online sign ups sections and I am praying specifically about the lives that I will meet soon to care for their needs. Please note that I focus on Adults and areas of care that mainly involve PTSD or Trauma along with the Depression and Anxiety that comes with such events in life.

I do plan to consider all requests, but if there’s a better placement because the focus is on a child, marriage, or family concern, I am keeping in mind that I really feel called to the individual trauma work that comes of many types of difficult scenarios and I find that this work has the most movement, healing, and successful overcoming of symptoms in the work that I do on a daily basis.
