12- What if you haven't been shaken to jelly yet?

Day 12

What if you haven't been shaken to jelly yet?

Good. Stay there. Be honest about it.

Because the worst thing you can do in the hallowed space is perform an experience you haven't had. God is not looking for the right reaction. He is looking for the real one.

If the doorposts haven't shaken for you yet — if the seraphim's cry has remained more concept than encounter — that is not failure. That is where most of us actually live. And it is a more honest starting place than borrowed emotion.

But here is what I want to ask you.

Do you want to be shaken?

Because there is a difference between a soul that has not yet encountered the fullness of Thy name — and a soul that has quietly arranged its life to make sure it never gets too close.

Gnosis — true knowing — is not intellectual accumulation. In the Biblical sense it is intimate. Relational. The same word used for the deepest knowing between two people. It costs something to be known that completely. It requires the dismantling of the carefully managed self. The version of you that has everything organized and explained and under control.

Job knew about God for a long time before he knew God.

The difference was the whirlwind.

So if you have not yet been shaken — the question is not what is wrong with you. The question is what are you still holding onto that is keeping the ground beneath you stable when it was never meant to stay that way.

What are you still managing that you haven't yet surrendered?

That is where the next encounter waits.
